Over the years, the successful business had been increasingly growing together with NKG’s global group structure and finally became “NKG India Coffee” in 2014 – a 100% company of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe and NKG’s main and single green coffee exporter in India.

For our group company, NKG India Coffee Pvt. Ltd., we are looking for a Coffee Trader (f/m/d).
The position will be based in Bengaluru and reports directly to Chief Commercial Officer.

Your responsibilities

  • Trade green coffee with Indian soluble coffee roasters, managing contracts, pricing, and delivery execution.

  • Develop and expand specialty coffee sales with local roasters.

  • Conduct crop surveys to assess production volume, quality, and market supply conditions.

  • Monitor coffee market trends, pricing movements, and origin dynamics to support trading decisions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, roasters, and other commercial partners.

  • Support other commercial and trading-related activities as required.

  • Willing to travel locally as required.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.


Your profile

  • Excellent verbal and written English, Hindi and Kannada

  • Recognised Degree in Business Management, Commerce or related field

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Green Coffee Industry

  • Knowledge of Supply & Demand factors, pricing trends and regulations affecting coffee tradeAn individual contributor with strategic thinking, resourceful and proactive

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Negotiation and good business acumen

  • Highly motived, proactive, and passionate about coffee

  • Teamwork and good collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
