Quality Control Executive - Assorter

Designation - Diamond Assorter - Melle Location - BKC, Mumbai (in-office) We are looking for a Diamond Grading professional to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for Quality Control before processing the diamonds for shipments. What you'll do: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform 100% assortment of all diamonds according to the customer's specifications. Ensure all diamonds are accurately assessed for color, clarity, and other grading factors using international grading standards. Categorize diamonds by size, weight, and quality with precision, following customer preferences and specifications. Perform weight and gauging (measurement) of diamonds with expertise, ensuring accuracy in size and specifications. Use sieves and other necessary tools to classify diamonds by size and maintain consistency. Ensure that all assortments are completed in a timely manner and are prepared for shipping or further processing without delays. Collaborate closely with the QC and Shipping teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Maintain detailed records of all assortments, ensuring that invoices match system records. Safely handle and manage all diamonds in the office, ensuring their security and proper storage. Provide transparency and updates on any issues related to the assortment process, ensuring customer satisfaction. What you'll need: Proven experience in diamond assortment and grading across all categories and sizes. Strong knowledge of international color and clarity grading measures. Familiarity with weight, measurement, and sieving techniques. Ability to work efficiently with multiple customer specifications and ensure high standards of quality. High attention to detail to ensure that all assortments meet the required specifications. Proficiency in English (both written and verbal communication skills). Strong sense of responsibility, transparency, and trustworthiness when handling high-value diamonds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and collaborating effectively with counterparts. Humble, honest, and trustworthy with respect for colleagues and customers. A proactive and positive attitude, taking ownership of tasks without blame or complaints.
