About Nippon Dynawave Packaging – Longview, WA
The Longview Liquid Packaging facility produces bleached paperboard used to manufacture cartons and cups for liquid products such as milk, juice, coffee, and sake. The facility employs approximately 500 people and produces 260,000 metric tons of paperboard annually—equivalent to roughly 6 billion one-liter milk cartons.
Originally launched by Weyerhaeuser in 1953, the Longview Liquid Packaging business entered a new chapter on September 1, 2016, following its acquisition by Nippon Paper Industries (NPI). Operating today as Nippon Dynawave Packaging, the facility benefits from NPI’s deep experience and long-standing commitment to the liquid packaging market, strengthening the site’s long-term success.
