Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, a Junior DevOps Engineer works within nimble's Infrastructure and Operations Team. You will work closely with experienced engineers to learn and contribute to our cloud infrastructure operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and automation while supporting our mission-critical systems. On a typical day, here's what you'll be working on: Infrastructure Support: Assist in maintaining deployment pipelines and automation scripts Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform Help monitor system health and performance Support routine maintenance tasks and updates Work within Azure DevOps to manage build pipelines, release definitions, and related work items Cloud Operations: Support Azure cloud resource management under guidance Learn cloud cost optimization strategies Assist in implementing security configurations Help maintain system documentation Deployment Assistance: Support production deployments under supervision Learn troubleshooting methodologies for common issues Shadow senior engineers during incident response Assist in maintaining deployment procedures Learning and Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions Document technical procedures and learnings Collaborate with team members on projects Build understanding of DevOps best practices
