Summary:
The NICE CXone Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise‑grade contact center and customer experience (CX) solutions using the NICE CXone platform. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with CXone Studio scripting, REST/API integrations, and backend CRM integrations using Azure services. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and integration teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance CX solutions across voice and digital channels.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain NICE CXone Studio call flows for Voice and Digital channels.
- Build and customize CXone solutions using Studio scripting, REST/API actions, and interaction handling.
- Develop backend integration with CRM and enterprise systems using REST APIs, Azure APIs, and Azure API Management (APIM).
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, Access Keys, and OIDC.
- Utilize CXone REST APIs (Admin, Agent, Patron, Real‑time, Reporting, Media) for configuration, reporting, and real‑time integrations.
- Leverage Integration Hub to create secure, reusable, and template‑driven API connections using OAuth and mTLS.
- Perform data engineering activities for CX analytics using Reporting APIs, Real‑time Data APIs, and Data Extraction APIs for QM and recording metadata.
- Develop and maintain integrations using TypeScript / JavaScript following enterprise coding standards.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of CXone implementations.
- Stay up to date with NICE CXone platform enhancements and CX industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience building enterprise contact center or CX integrations.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with NICE CXone, including Studio scripting and API‑based integrations.
- Strong experience in TypeScript / JavaScript development.
- Proven experience working with Azure services, especially Azure APIs and Azure API Management (APIM).
- Strong understanding of RESTful services, API security, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
Desired Skills:
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of CXone Studio, Integration Hub, and digital channel configurations.
- Experience with real‑time and historical reporting, analytics, and data extraction in CX environments.
- Exposure to cloud‑native architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills in complex CX ecosystems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
