Director of Human Resources
Location: Clarksville, TN (Hybrid)


NEW PURPOSENEW PURPOSE is seeking a Director of Human Resources to build and lead a high-performing HR function that ensures compliance, workforce stability, and organizational growth. This role is responsible for overseeing all HR operations, including staffing, training compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and regulatory readiness. The Director of HR will work directly with the CEO to ensure the organization remains fully compliant with DDA standards while scaling services.


Requirements

 Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR operations including staffing, onboarding, training compliance, and employee relations
  • Ensure 100% compliance with training, certifications, and personnel file requirements
  • Oversee Paylocity and Relias systems for workforce management and training tracking
  • Develop and implement performance management and corrective action systems
  • Maintain audit-ready personnel files at all times
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, FMLA, and benefits administration
  • Build staffing pipelines to eliminate service gaps
  • Partner with leadership to ensure consistent supervision and accountability


 Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience (healthcare, social services, or similar preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Employment law and HR compliance
    • FMLA and benefits administration
    • HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
    • Training systems (Relias preferred)
  • Experience in high-compliance environments (DDA, healthcare, or regulated services) strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build systems, not just manage processes
Salary Description
80,000 to 90,000
