The Digital and Information Services Directorate is seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to lead the Digital Transformation Team on a fixed-term basis to provide backfill cover for the substantive post holder, who is currently leading the NHS Borders Digital Refresh Programme. This is a senior leadership role that offers the opportunity to contribute to NHS Borders digital change projects, programmes, and initiatives. This role will drive large-scale change, playing a critical role in shaping and enabling digital transformation across NHS Borders and the wider sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Digital Project Management Office (DPMO) and the Systems Applications and Delivery Teams. The post holder will oversee a wide-ranging programme of digital and information services transformation, working across all operational areas including Primary Care, Community Hospitals, Acute, and Mental Health services. The role requires an individual with strong leadership experience and a proven track record of successful delivery of large scale, complex Digital Programmes. You should have a minimum of 10 years project and programme management experience, the ability to influence at all levels, and a clear focus on delivering measurable benefits in patient care, service efficiency, and information quality.
