We are looking for a domain expert with strong experience working with NGOs who understands how non-profit organizations operate, comply with standards, and manage certifications.
The ideal person should have hands-on experience engaging with NGOs, understanding their operational needs, and navigating the ecosystem of standards, certifications, and compliance frameworks commonly followed in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with NGOs to understand their operational workflows and needs
- Identify and document the standards, certifications, and compliance frameworks NGOs typically follow
- Help validate and verify NGO credentials, certifications, and legitimacy
- Provide insights into best practices in NGO operations and governance
- Support the team with domain expertise related to NGO processes and compliance
Preferred Background:
- Experience working with NGOs, foundations, development organizations, or non-profit networks
- Familiarity with NGO certifications, accreditations, and regulatory requirements
- Strong ability to evaluate and verify organizational credentials
- Comfortable interacting with NGOs and understanding their operational realities
