Job title - System Administrator
Role Descriptions: About the Role
We are looking for a strong individual contributor who can design and build Nexthink automation| develop and maintain an automation suite| and identify improvement areas in IT workflow automation.
Must Have5-8 years of hands-on experience in end-user computing or endpoint management.
Strong Nexthink experience Building and maintaining Nexthink metrics| dashboards| investigations| and services. Designing and deploying Nexthink campaigns and automated remediation actions. Working knowledge of Nexthink workflows| custom trends| alerts| and campaign modules. Proficiency in writing and maintaining Nexthink NQL queries and analyzing investigation trends.
Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and remediation at scale Bash scripting knowledge is a plus.
SCCM experience Application package creation| deployments| collections| and task sequences. Software updates| compliance baselines| and client troubleshooting. Good understanding of Windows 1011 client internals (services| registry| event logs| performance). Experience designing and running automated remediation workflows (Nexthink| SCCM| or both). Ability to create and integrate APIs with downstream applications like ServiceNow. Ability to read| interpret| and improve existing scripts and runbooks. Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
Good to Have Experience integrating Nexthink with ITSM tools (ServiceNow| etc.). Experience managing DEX scores (configuration and fine-tuning). Experience with Intune MEM JAMF and co-management scenarios. Exposure to other endpoint tools (e.g.| Lakeside| Nexthink competitors). Basic understanding of networking concepts impacting endpoints (DNS| proxy| VPN| Wi-Fi). Experience with dashboarding or reporting tools (Power BI| SQL| or similar). Familiarity with CICD or version control for scripts (Git| Azure DevOps| etc.).Key Responsibilities Build and maintain Nexthink content to detect| measure| and improve endpoint experience. Implement and maintain automated remediation using Nexthink and PowerShell. Analyze Nexthink data to identify patterns| recurring issues| and high-value automation use cases. Partner with EUC| Service Desk| and infrastructure teams to define and deliver automations. Document solutions clearly| including functionality| execution| and rollback procedures. Support major endpoint initiatives such as OS upgrades| hardware refresh| and software standardization.
Mindset Additional Requirements Comfortable owning issues end-to-end rather than handing them off. Nexthink certifications are a plus.
