About the role
Nexters seeks a Game Designer for their flagship project, Hero Wars: Dominion Era (Desktop). This role requires owning features from conception to launch, reworking systems, and directly influencing key product metrics. Responsibilities include designing and implementing game mechanics and core/meta gameplay systems, balancing and optimizing in-game systems, developing and launching new modes, creating progression/reward systems, analyzing metrics, managing content, collaborating with other departments, conducting playtests, and writing design documentation.
Must have:
3-5 years gameplay design experience
Proven success in designing and improving core gameplay systems
Deep understanding of F2P mechanics and design principles
Strong system balancing and optimization skills
Experience with analytics and data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
Experience with successful game projects
Familiarity with the battler genre
Understanding of game engines and basic programming
