Role Description The Next JS Back End Developer – Free Internship is a full-time, on-site role based in Srinagar. Interns will work closely with the engineering team to design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Next.js and related technologies. Day-to-day tasks include implementing server-side logic, integrating databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure data handling. The intern will collaborate with front-end developers to create seamless end-to-end solutions, debug and resolve issues, and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in a production environment, exposure to real-world platform challenges, and the opportunity to support a systems-first product serving local communities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, including experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with an understanding of clean code practices and design patterns.
- Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively on full-stack features and ensure smooth integration with UI components.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and version control systems such as Git.
- Relevant qualifications include current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with the ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
