About the role

As a Customer Support Intern at Newton School of Technology, you will be the first point of contact for our students and users, ensuring a smooth and responsive support experience. You will assist in resolving queries, improving user satisfaction, and supporting our internal teams with real-time insights into customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries across email, chat, and other support channels
  • Track, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams (tech, academics, operations) to address user concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, issues, and feedback
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements in support processes
  • Contribute to knowledge base content and FAQs for self-serve support
  • Ensure a high-quality, empathetic, and solution-focused support experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good problem-solving ability and customer-first attitude
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Zendesk, or similar CRMs
  • A bit of prior experience with support tools like Freshdesk and Freshchat is preferred
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle pressure calmly
  • Prior internship or project experience in a support/customer-facing role is a plus
