Job Overview:
4PM News Network is looking for a dynamic and news-savvy Social Media Manager to handle and grow our Hindi news presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current affairs, viral trends, and audience engagement, with the ability to present news in a compelling, fast-paced, and relatable way for social media audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, curate, and publish Hindi news content across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp
- Write engaging captions, headlines, and hooks tailored for viral reach and audience retention
- Monitor breaking news and trends to ensure timely and relevant content publishing
- Coordinate with editorial and video teams for content planning and execution
- Optimize posts using hashtags, keywords, and platform-specific strategies
- Analyze performance metrics and improve content strategy based on insights
- Manage comments, audience interactions, and community engagement
- Ensure accuracy, credibility, and consistency in all published content
Requirements:
- Strong command of Hindi (written and verbal)
- Good understanding of news, राजनीति, और current affairs
- Experience in social media management, preferably in news/media industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools and social media analytics is a plus
- Creative mindset with a sharp sense of what works on social media
Experience:
- 1–3 years preferred (Freshers with strong skills may also apply)
