Role Description
This is a hybrid internship role involving ground reporting in your respective city with some remote coordination.
As a News Reporter Intern, you will assist in conducting research, reporting, and creating news content while adhering to ethical journalism practices.
Please Note: This internship opportunity is exclusively open to students pursuing or having completed studies in Mass Communication, Journalism, or closely related media fields.
Responsibilities include:
• Ground reporting and covering real-time events
• Recording video reports for INDIA HUNT YouTube channel
• Writing news content and basic scripts
• Preparing press releases and short reports
• Supporting digital news platforms
• Collaborating with the editorial team
Qualifications
• Strong interest in Reporting and Journalism
• Basic understanding of News Reporting and Press Releases
• Good speaking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of digital news trends and ethical journalism
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related media field (mandatory)
• Prior experience in reporting or digital media is an advantage
