About the Company
We are a growing packaging manufacturing company specializing in innovative packaging and labeling solutions. We are looking for a highly creative and technically strong NPD Engineer who can develop new label products, create attractive designs, and support end-to-end product development activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop new label products as per customer requirements and market trends.
· Design creative and functional label artworks for packaging products.
· Coordinate with Sales, Production, QA, and Customers for new product development.
· Prepare product mock-ups, samples, specifications, and technical drawings.
· Work on label structure, material selection, adhesive compatibility, and printing feasibility.
· Create graphic designs using design software for commercial and industrial labels.
· Ensure artwork accuracy including dimensions, colors, barcodes, fonts, and compliance requirements.
· Handle product trials and support production during new product launches.
· Maintain records of new developments, BOMs, artwork files, and approvals.
· Research market trends, competitor products, and innovative packaging solutions.
· Support continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of label manufacturing and packaging industry.
· Expertise in graphic designing and artwork development.
· Good understanding of printing processes such as Flexographic, Offset, Digital, or Screen Printing.
· Knowledge of label materials, adhesives, laminations, and finishes.
· Ability to create innovative and customer-focused label designs.
· Strong communication and coordination skills.
· Problem-solving and product development capabilities.
Software Knowledge
· Adobe Illustrator
· CorelDRAW
· Adobe Photoshop
· AutoCAD
· ERP/Design Management Software
Qualification
B.Tech / Diploma in Packaging Technology, Mechanical, Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or related field. Certification in Graphic Designing will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Experience in Packaging, Labels, Printing, FMCG, Pharma, or Industrial Packaging sector.
· Creative mindset with strong technical understanding.
· Ability to independently manage customer development projects.
· Knowledge of barcode, compliance labels, and industrial labeling standards preferred.
Experience required – 2-5 Years
Salary: upto 25- 30k Per Month
Reporting To: Head – Plant Head
