- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- 5–12 years experience in Chemical / Process Industry

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and result-oriented professional to handle New Product Development (NPD) and Technology Transfer (TT) activities. The role involves scaling up lab-developed processes to pilot and commercial production while ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development (NPD)
Develop and optimize chemical processes for new products at lab and pilot scaleConduct feasibility studies, process selection, and route optimizationPrepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process DescriptionsPerform material balance and energy balance calculationsEvaluate raw materials, yields, and process economics
Technology Transfer (TT)
Transfer developed processes from R&D to plant scale smoothlySupport pilot trials, scale-up activities, and commercial productionPrepare Technology Transfer Documents (TTD) and SOPsCoordinate with production, QA/QC, and engineering teamsTroubleshoot scale-up challenges and optimize process parameters
⚙️ Process Optimization & Engineering
Improve cycle time, yield, and cost of productionConduct process hazard analysis (PHA/HAZOP)Support equipment sizing and selectionEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental norms
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare batch manufacturing records (BMR) and validation reportsMaintain process documentation and technical reportsSupport audits and regulatory documentation
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of chemical process design & scale-upHands-on experience in pilot plant / commercial plant trialsExpertise in PFD, P&ID, mass & heat balance calculationsFamiliarity with process safety and risk assessmentGood analytical and problem-solving skills
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with R&D, Production, QA/QC, EHS, and Engineering teamsLiaise with vendors for raw materials and equipment trials
Preferred Industry Background
Specialty Chemicals / API / Bulk Chemicals / Petrochemicals
