Position: New Product Development (NPD) Executive

Role Overview
We are seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Executive with hands-on experience in food manufacturing. The role involves developing, testing, and launching new food products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The candidate will work closely with production, quality, procurement, and marketing teams to bring innovative and commercially viable products to market.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and improve new food products from concept to commercialization
• Conduct trials, pilot batches, and scale-up activities in coordination with production
• Prepare product formulations, specifications, and process documentation
• Evaluate raw materials and ingredients for quality, cost, and suitability
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, and internal quality standards
• Conduct sensory evaluation, shelf-life testing, and stability studies
• Support cost optimization and recipe standardization initiatives
• Coordinate with QA/QC for product validation and approvals
• Assist in packaging development and labeling compliance
• Maintain detailed NPD documentation and reports
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Dairy Technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or food product development
• Practical knowledge of food processing, formulation, and production trials
• Familiarity with FSSAI regulations and food safety standards
• Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills
Preferred Skills
• Hands-on experience with product trials and scale-up
• Understanding of shelf-life studies and sensory evaluation
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines
