Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a New Product Development Manager, located in Gurugram, with flexibility for some remote work. The New Product Development Manager will oversee the end-to-end process of developing new bakery products for B2B clients, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and incorporating customer feedback. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, working on product formulation with the team, managing project timelines, collaborating with the R&D department, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Food Technology and Food Science, particularly in the bakery or food industry
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) of food products, including formulation and product testing
- Proven Project Management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and FSSAI compliance in food manufacturing
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
- Experience in the food manufacturing or bakery industry is strongly preferred
- Creative mindset with an eye for innovation and product improvements
