Key Responsibilities:
· Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (like Solid works, Pro-E, or Creo), and hands-on experience in plastic injection mold design and development.
· Knowledge of part geometry, moldability, capability studies, and tolerance analysis, along with skills in DFMEA, validation, and technical documentation.
· Plastic injection mould maintenance/ correction / ECN hand on experience considered as advantage
· PPAP /APQP documents knowledge
· Good knowledge about injection moulding process and mould development process.
· Preparing Input Sheets for new products.
· Feasibility Report preparation for new products.
· Acquiring quotes from mould manufacturers
· Communication with customer and toolmakers regarding mould development.
· Keeping track of development activities along with Cross Functional Team.
· Maintaining proper documentation as per QMS systems
· Preparing project timeline and keeping track of it so that important milestones are achieved.
· Knowledge of PFD,PFMEA & CP and PPAP documentation
· Good understanding about plastic materials
Key Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of plastic molding processes – including tooling, cycle time optimization, defect analysis, and part dimensional control.
· Hands-on experience with quality tools, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
· Excellent understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and measurement instruments.
· Strong technical knowledge of Injection Molding machines & tooling
· Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
· Strong proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid works, Pro-E, or Creo.
· Comprehensive knowledge MS Office package.
Education & Experience:
· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Plastic Technology / Production Engineering.
· Experience : 3-4 years in plastic injection molding or similar industry
