Role Description
We are seeking a New Product Developer (Packaging Specialist FMCG) for a full-time, on-site role located in the Pune Division. The role focuses on developing and enhancing product packaging solutions, researching market trends, collaborating with the product development team, and ensuring products meet quality and innovation standards. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, conducting comprehensive research, testing packaging materials, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong research and development (R&D) skills with a focus on innovative product design and technology
- Experience in product management and product development, particularly in the FMCG sector
- Technical expertise in packaging solutions, including knowledge of food technology and material compatibility
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in packaging technology, food technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with quality and safety guidelines
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry or packaging design is highly desirable
