NJR is seeking Cybersecurity Intern to assist the Cybersecurity team with projects, research and reporting.

What you will do: 

Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you’ll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You’ll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.

• Regularly monitor Information security event alerts to identify actionable information and initiate follow-up action as required

• Assist in evaluation and testing of new technologies, systems, functionalities, and processes

 • Perform research relating to current information security trends and threats and present to team for review

• Assist in creation of metrics reports resulting from information security tools

• Attend information security related meetings and capture meeting minutes and notes

Requirements:

· Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the areas of in the areas of Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related discipline
· Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August)
· Ability to work hybrid/onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ
