Role Description:

As part of our strategic expansion into E-Commerce, Q-Commerce, and D2C ecosystems, we are looking for a high-impact Business Development leader to build this vertical from the ground up.

This role will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and scaling partnerships with leading Travel platforms, OTAs, Q-Commerce players, and D2C brands, driving growth for our Affinity business.

This is a zero-to-one opportunity — ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new revenue streams, and can translate market opportunities into scalable partnerships.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition across Travel E-Commerce, OTA platforms, Q-Commerce, and D2C brands for the Affinity business.
  • Identify and onboard partners such as OTAs, travel aggregators, platform players, and high-growth D2C brands.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects through networking, industry connects, and strategic outreach.
  • Lead end-to-end deal lifecycle — from prospecting, pitching, negotiations, to closure.
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies for launching and scaling affinity partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Category & Marketing) to successfully onboard and scale partner programs.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliance frameworks to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes across e-commerce and digital ecosystems.
  • Own and deliver on revenue targets, with a strong focus on scalability and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders across partner organizations.

Experience Required:

  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales.
  • Strong exposure to E-Commerce, Travel Tech, OTA platforms, Q-Commerce, or D2C ecosystem.
  • Strong network within Travel E-Commerce & OTA players such as MMT Biz, Booking.com, Yatra Cleartrip, Go-Ibibo, EaseMyTrip etc.
  • Proven track record of closing large partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in building new categories / verticals from scratch will be a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of platform-led business models and aggregator ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Must be comfortable working as an Individual Contributor (IC role) in a high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel. 


Qualifications:

  • MBA from a reputed institution (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field 


Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Prior experience working with or at leading OTA / Travel platforms / E-Commerce companies.
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions to D2C brands, Q-Commerce companies, or platform/aggregator ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of consumer journeys, checkout ecosystems, and embedded offerings.
  • Ability to identify whitespace opportunities and convert them into scalable partnerships.
