Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Neurosurgeon Consultant located in Faridabad at the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences. The Neurosurgeon Consultant will perform complex neurosurgical procedures, assess and diagnose neurological conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care, performing pre- and post-operative care, and educating patients and their families about treatment options and recovery processes. In addition, the role may involve participating in research and furthering advancements in the field of neurosurgery.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in neurosurgery procedures, including microsurgical and minimally invasive techniques
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in managing neurological disorders and conditions
- Expertise in working with advanced medical technology, including MRI, CT, and PET scans
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with medical teams
- Proficiency in patient care, from diagnostics to post-operative rehabilitation
- Formal qualification: MBBS, MS/DNB in General Surgery, MCh/DNB in Neurosurgery (or equivalent)
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a dynamic hospital environment
- Prior experience in a super specialty or tertiary care hospital is preferred
