Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Neurologist to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough neurological examinations and patient assessments
- Diagnose neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, migraines, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis
- Interpret diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scan, EEG, and other neuro-imaging reports
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and medication management
- Handle neurological emergencies such as acute stroke and seizures
- Perform procedures like lumbar puncture when required
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, physicians, and rehabilitation teams
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
