Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Neuro Anesthesiologist at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, located in South Bengaluru. The Neuro Anesthesiologist will be responsible for evaluating, preparing, and managing patients undergoing neurological and neurosurgical procedures. Key responsibilities include administering anesthesia during surgeries, monitoring patients' vital signs and responses, managing pain relief during postoperative care, and collaborating closely with the surgical and critical care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also includes participation in training, medical education initiatives, and ensuring the use of the latest clinical protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in using advanced anesthesia techniques and interventions for neurological and neurosurgical cases
- Strong skills in patient evaluation, preparation, and management, including experience in preoperative and postoperative care
- Proficiency in monitoring and managing patients’ vital functions during surgeries, including critical care experience
- Demonstrated commitment to adhering to the latest safety, ethical, and clinical guidelines in anesthesia practices
- Board-certified or equivalent qualification in Anesthesiology, with further specialization in Neuroanesthesia
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Strong analytical abilities, decision-making skills, and leadership qualities
- A passion for continued learning and teaching medical professionals
- Previous experience in a quaternary care or high-volume hospital will be advantageous
