About the role

In this dynamic role, you'll bridge engineering and sales, working closely with leading Tier 1 consumer electronics and semiconductor companies to integrate our sensors into their groundbreaking products. You'll also have the opportunity to visit customers internationally, provide hands-on technical support, and represent Neuranics at world-renowned industry events like CES in Las Vegas, gaining global exposure and invaluable industry connections. Job Summary: As an Applications Engineer you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions that leverage our cutting-edge Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors for applications in wearables, XR and beyond. You'll work closely with industry leaders to shape the future of human-machine interaction and advanced sensing technologies. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with customers to provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and system optimisation for sensor integration. Gather and understand customer technical requirements, presenting tailored solutions for their applications. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design, prototype, and deploy bespoke solutions, integrating TMR sensors for diverse applications. Guide customers through the full product design lifecycle, from prototyping to commercialisation. Represent Neuranics at industry-leading trade shows such as CES and MWC, showcasing our latest innovations and networking with industry pioneers. Build and test development kits and prototypes. Requirements: Degree in Electronics Engineering. 3 -5 years' experience in a customer-facing engineering role. Solid understanding of electronic circuits, signal processing, and sensor interfacing. Experience in software development for embedded systems and relevant software tools, such as Python. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a passion for developing solutions to complex technical challenges. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in meeting and engaging in deep dive technical conversations with customers directly on your own or as part of a team. A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to travel for customer visits, installations, and training sessions. Valid passport with no travel restrictions. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Self-driven and capable of working independently, while also excelling as part of a collaborative team. Desirable: Experience in schematic and PCB layout. Background in analogue electronics. A background in magnetic sensing or semiconductor technology. Familiarity with industries such as wearables, XR, and other next-gen technologies.
