About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Hippocampus team, you will be responsible for developing software that enables Neuralink's Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. This includes building novel applications and tools to interface with the Neuralink implant and to process the neural data it collects. You will work closely with our neuroscientists, hardware engineers, and other software engineers to turn research breakthroughs into functional products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing software components that interface with the Neuralink implant and process neural data - Building novel BCI applications that leverage the capabilities of the Neuralink implant - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research concepts into working prototypes - Automating workflows and developing tooling to improve the productivity of the engineering team - Documenting and maintaining the software architecture and codebase - Continuously improving software quality, performance, and reliability We are looking for candidates with strong software engineering skills, a passion for neuroscience and BCI technology, and a desire to work on cutting-edge products that can improve people's lives.
