Azim Premji Foundation is initiating a Network Hospitals programme to work with select public-spirited, charitable hospitals across India. The programme will include some grant support, as well as other broader network support to strengthen and enable hospital services.
Network support for hospitals could include addressing critical gaps in services, inter hospital networks, technology support, support for quality benchmarking standards, and facilitating access to specialist services through travelling specialists/telemedicine, among others.

The Network support officer will be part of network support team and will operationalise these initiatives for hospitals in the network, in coordination with internal teams, external partners, and hospitals.
Responsibilities:
- Operationalizing specific services within the hospital such as implementation of quality standards, telemedicine platform operationalization, coordinating specialist doctor visits, inter hospital coordination within the network.
- Working closely with network managers and supporting developing, recording, documenting, disseminating protocols and frameworks.
- Engaging with hospitals to understand level of execution of these protocols and standards.
- Working with technical team / consultants and network hospital to ensure smooth operationalization of specific services such as telemedicine operation.
- tManaging backend data generated from these activities and analyzing and developing reports to facilitate understanding of programme implementation of specific threads.
- Coordinating with consultants / technical specialists and network hospitals whenever required to facilitate operationalization of services.
What do we look:
- Good understanding of hospital operations especially in charitable / public hospital setting.
- Master's degree preferably in hospital administration or hospital management,
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in healthcare or hospital sector.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external experts.
- Willingness to travel extensively for work.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems independently or collaboratively if needed.
- Experience in hospital administration, quality improvement, or hospital systems strengthening would be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
