🔹 Job Title:

Network Support Engineer | Linux, VMware, NMS

Location: Delhi/NCR (1) & Bangalore (1)

Experience: 2–5 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform validation and testing of new device software, NMS software, and software patches
  • Develop Python scripts for report generation, data formatting, and system integration
  • Work with RESTful APIs for automation and integration tasks
  • Provide technical support for critical product and NMS-related issues
  • Simulate critical issues in lab environment for troubleshooting and RCA
  • Prepare MOP documents for FNI, firmware upgrades, software patches, and node migration
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Deployment, and Back Office teams
  • Coordinate with OEMs for new feature development and bug resolution
  • Provide remote support to field teams during critical cases
  • Conduct product and NMS training for customers
  • Handle node migration and related activities
  • Manage inventory reports, node backup, and system backup
  • Work on VMware virtualization platform
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux/Ubuntu systems
  • Troubleshoot using L2/L3 networking concepts and Ethernet testing tools
🔹 Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Networking (L2/L3 protocols)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Experience with VMware
  • Basic to intermediate Python scripting
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
🔹 Preferred Skills:
  • Experience on Cambium products
  • Working knowledge of cnMaestro NMS
  • Experience in wireless/ISP domain
