Job Description: Level 3 Network Support (CoE Team)
Location: Navi Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
(Mumbai Based Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Job Overview:
The L3 Network Support Engineer is the Senior level position in Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The position involves interacting with the customer in designing advanced network solutions and ensuring the stability of high-availability environments. The position also involves troubling shooting complex issues while implementation and ongoing support. The person in this position ensures proper documentation is prepared based on the implementation activities and hands over to Operations team for ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
•Infrastructure Design: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of LAN/WAN, Wireless, and Data Center networks.
•Advanced Troubleshooting: Perform deep-packet analysis (using tools like Wireshark) to identify root causes of intermittent connectivity or latency.
•Management: Manage high-end network equipment, UTM boxes & firewalls.
•Automation & Scripting: Use Python, Ansible, or Terraform to automate repetitive network tasks and configurations.
•Capacity Planning: Monitor network trends and provide data-driven recommendations for hardware refreshes and bandwidth scaling.
•SDN: Able to work on Software Deffined Networking devices
•Expert Escalation: Serve as the final point of contact for complex network outages and performance issues escalated from L1/L2 teams.
•Mentorship: Conduct technical training sessions for junior engineers and maintain high-quality documentation.
Technical Requirements:
•7 / 8 plus years in network engineering/support roles.
•Active CCIE (Enterprise/Data Center) or JNCIE / NSE 4 / 5 / 6 is highly preferred. CCNP with significant experience is a minimum.
•Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, Vlan, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
•Decent experience with AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, or Google Cloud Interconnect (networking activities)
•Exposure to Load Balancing
•Must contribute to share technical knowledge and expertise with the team
•Should have critical observational skills to identify anomalies in the network / systems / cloud environments

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telcom or a related field
