The role demands a technically strong security professional with expertise in enterprise‑grade security tooling, cloud and on‑premise security operations, vulnerability management, and AI‑driven security mechanisms. The specialist will work closely with Infrastructure, SecOps, and Business teams to ensure the effective deployment, monitoring, and governance of security tools, as well as continuous improvement of the organization’s overall security posture.
What will your job look like?
- Deploy, configure, and manage Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF) monitoring solutions across large-scale environments.
- Implement and administer Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Extended Detection & Response (XDR), and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) platforms.
- Manage and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, ensuring accurate log collection, correlation, and incident visibility.
- Lead end‑to‑end Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), vulnerability assessment, and vulnerability lifecycle management using advanced tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, WIZ, CrowdStrike, and other scanning platforms.
- Drive AI‑enabled security implementation, including automation, threat analytics, and secure integration of AI-driven defense capabilities.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Account teams to ensure all required security tools are deployed, optimized, and fully operational.
- Continuously monitor and analyze security alerts, investigate anomalies, and provide timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of security reports and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure remediation and closure of identified issues.
- Lead security-related projects, including planning, execution, tracking, and delivery, ensuring alignment with security objectives and compliance requirements.
- You will recommend information technology policies, standards and guidelines by evaluating the organization's outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
- You will keep up-to-date with emerging security threats and alerts, emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
- You will enforce quality processes (i.e. performing technical root cause analysis, outlining corrective action for given problems) and ensure that all the project agreed deliverables are completed to the required level of quality.
All you need is...
- 6–7 years of professional experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with security technologies including WAF, IPS, FA, EDR, XDR, FIM, Vulnerability Assessment (VA), CSPM, and DAM.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including system hardening, patch management, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding principles.
- Solid understanding of network security, including IAM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure network architecture.
- Familiarity with leading industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Experience with security controls and native services across AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of AI for security and security for AI systems, including threat modeling and AI‑related risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to scale across multiple cross‑domain security tools and technologies.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including task ownership, decision-making, and mentoring.
