We are looking for a skilled Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in routing, switching, NOC operations, and firewall technologies (Palo Alto preferred).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and security of enterprise infrastructure.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment
- Troubleshoot network, firewall, and connectivity issues with quick resolution
- Configure and manage routing & switching (LAN/WAN) environments
- Administer and support Palo Alto firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs)
- Handle incident management, escalation, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure network performance and uptime
- Maintain documentation for configurations, incidents, and changes
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
🔹 Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Network / NOC / Security roles
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Routing & Switching (L2/L3 concepts)
- Firewall technologies (Palo Alto preferred)
- NOC operations / Network Monitoring
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT
- Experience in incident management & troubleshooting
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
🔹 Good to Have
- Experience with Fortinet / Cisco ASA / Check Point firewalls
- Certifications like Palo Alto (PCNSE), CCNA, CCNP
- Exposure to data center / ISP environments
🔹 Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure NOC environments
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination
