Job title: Network L2 Operations Support – Meraki SD-WAN
Location: Pan India
Contract
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 operational support for network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, switches, wireless access points, and security appliances.
Monitor network performance using Meraki Dashboard and network monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, latency, packet loss, and configuration problems.
Support SD-WAN deployments, configuration, and optimization across multiple sites.
Perform incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL processes.
Escalate complex issues to L3 engineering teams when required.
Manage VPN connectivity (Site-to-Site and Client VPN) using Meraki solutions.
Implement and support LAN/WAN routing protocols, VLANs, ACLs, and firewall rules.
Perform network configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and patching.
Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve network-related issues.
Participate in 24/7 shift-based operations and on-call support if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR series).
Experience with SD-WAN technologies and WAN optimization.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and subnetting.
Experience with routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, STP, etc.).
Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN).
Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, SolarWinds, etc.).
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
