Job Title: Network Engineer

Pay: AU$80,000.00 – AU$100,000.00 per year

Location: level 2/390 Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000

Job description:

· Responsible for building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks as per the business requirement.

· Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

· Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).

· Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.

· Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external standards and guidelines including legislation, statutes, regulations and policies.

· Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

· Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.

· Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.

· Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system.

· Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to gain and maintain business knowledge
