Role Description The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure for client organizations. Day-to-day tasks include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices, monitoring network performance, and proactively resolving connectivity issues to minimize downtime. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new deployments, upgrades, and changes, as well as documenting network configurations, standards, and procedures. The Network Engineer will also assist in evaluating and implementing network security measures, performing routine audits, and supporting incident response activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders and client representatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including planning, implementing, and optimizing LAN/WAN environments.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices and services.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Network Security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, access control, and security policies.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent vendor certifications are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to document network architectures and communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment.
