About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Juniper Network Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise and service provider network infrastructures using Juniper technologies. This role involves managing Juniper routers, switches, and security devices, troubleshooting complex network issues, and supporting large-scale network environments. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high network availability, security, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge network solutions and play a pivotal role in our clients’ digital infrastructure development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in network engineering with a focus on Juniper technologies. Relevant certifications such as JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS, or JNCIP are preferred, along with additional certifications like CCNA or CCNP. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in enterprise, telecom, or service provider environments. Hands-on experience with Juniper Junos OS, MX, EX, and SRX platforms is essential. A solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS, VPN technologies, and network security principles is required. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies is also necessary. A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise and service provider networks utilizing Juniper devices.
- Manage and support Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls (MX, EX, SRX series).
- Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Deploy and maintain MPLS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and WAN connectivity solutions.
- Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including VLANs, STP, trunking, and routing integration.
- Administer firewall policies, NAT rules, and security configurations on Juniper SRX devices.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents, outages, and performance issues efficiently.
- Perform network upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to optimize network health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and cloud operations to ensure seamless network integration.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures for reference and compliance.
