Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Network Administrator role based in Mumbai. The Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and operation of network systems. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security measures are in place. The role may also involve designing network frameworks and configurations tailored to business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, network engineering, or infrastructure management.
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Network Security.
* Experience with enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, or Palo Alto Networks.
* Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless networks.
* Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
* Experience in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
* Understanding of network security controls, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Preferred certifications:
* CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
* CCNP Enterprise
* JNCIA-Junos
* Fortinet NSE Certifications
* Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
