🎓 Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS or related field (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and network performance.
• Troubleshoot network issues including latency, packet loss, connectivity, and
bandwidth utilization.
• Perform routine health checks and ensure network uptime.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as:
o Routers
o Switches
o Firewalls
o Access Points
• Manage VLANs, routing protocols, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IP address
management.
• Maintain firewall rules and basic security policies.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Monitor for vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities.
• Apply firmware updates and security patches.
• Support user authentication policies and network access control.
• Provide L1/L2 support for user network issues.
• Troubleshoot VPN issues, Wi-Fi connectivity, and OS-level network problems.
• Resolve tickets within defined SLAs and document the resolution process.
• Maintain updated network diagrams, asset inventory, and configuration records.
• Document change management activities and incident reports.
• Coordinate with service providers for internet, leased lines, MPLS, etc.
• Raise and follow up on support tickets and service requests.
• Ensure regular backups of network device configurations.
• Support network-related disaster recovery planning and testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CCNA Certification (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of:
o TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
o Routing & Switching
o VLANs, STP, OSPF (basic)
o Firewall fundamentals
• Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar).
• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux networking basics.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Exposure to cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure).
• Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with ITSM tools for ticketing and incident management
