Role Overview
Seeking a Network Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support automation and orchestration of telecom network infrastructure across multi-vendor environments. The role focuses on developing automation workflows, integrating EMS/NMS systems, and supporting automated provisioning across core, edge, and data center networks.
Required Skills
• Knowledge of Itential IAP or Cisco NSO orchestration platforms
• Networking fundamentals: IP routing, switching, VLANs, BGP basics
• Scripting and automation using Python and Ansible
• Experience working with REST APIs and network automation tools
• Exposure to multi-vendor telecom networks (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Nokia)
• Familiarity with IPAM/DNS systems such as Infoblox
• Familiarity with NFV/CNF environments or telecom OSS/BSS systems
Responsibilities
Network Automation
• Assist in building automation workflows using Itential (IAP) or similar orchestration platforms
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs
• Support integrations using REST, NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, and CLI automation
Network Infrastructure
• Support provisioning and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in multi-vendor environments
• Assist with automation of provisioning across SD-WAN, IP/MPLS, and data center networks
• Support configuration backup and validation using tools such as RANCID
Systems & Platform Integration
• Assist with integrations between network automation workflows and systems such as Cisco NSO, Cisco Meraki, Nokia Nuage, Juniper, Fortinet, and Infoblox
• Support integrations with OSS/BSS and EMS/NMS platforms including Granite, Netcracker, SNIPS, DIRT, Observium, and ServiceNow
