Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer based in Chennai. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of network systems. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting network issues, ensuring optimal network performance, configuring hardware/software, and maintaining security protocols. Additionally, the role requires proactive monitoring of network systems and collaborating with team members to ensure reliable connectivity and robust infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Network Administration, including configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network systems
- Solid skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including the ability to implement high-performance and scalable network architectures
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and ensure quick identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks
- Proficiency in Network Security to implement, monitor, and enhance secure systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to infrastructure challenges
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent would be an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
