About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Service & Incident Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at SISL Global. This role involves managing and supporting network security and access controls, ensuring seamless operation of IT infrastructure, and coordinating with various stakeholders to address incidents and service requests effectively. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and security of our clients' networks, utilizing a range of advanced tools and technologies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in networking, security, and vendor management to advance their careers in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Service & Incident Management, Vendor Management, or related fields.
- Basic networking knowledge, with at least Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level skills or certifications.
- Strong understanding of Network Security principles, particularly Network Access Control.
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, Essa, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime NEs (Router, Switches, Wireless controllers), Firewalls, ACI Fabrics, Netrequest, Cyberark, Forescout (Enterprise manager & appliances), Spectrum (monitoring), Dx Netops, Ansible, SPDW, MS Office, ServiceNow, Jira.
- ForeScout Certified Associate (FSCA) certification or equivalent training is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to work in a 24x5 shift pattern, including weekends, with flexibility for change deployments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage IT service incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, including Network Access Control and related security measures.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve network and security issues efficiently.
- Utilize various monitoring and management tools such as Splunk, Forescout, Cisco ISE, and Spectrum to oversee network health and security.
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining network devices including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Participate in change management processes, including deployment and testing of network updates and security patches.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance incident response and service delivery processes.
- Support end-user and client requests related to network access, security, and device management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards related to network security and incident management.
