About The Role
The Lead NetSuite Analyst (Level PR3) will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our NetSuite environment and other integrated systems. This position involves overseeing all requests related to our accounting and business management software, including NetSuite, BuildASign’s legacy systems, Salesforce, QlikSense, Avalara, and NOP Commerce. The analyst will be responsible for SKU management, month-end closing activities, data integrity, and supporting various teams with system-related needs. The role requires close collaboration with the Controller, external NetSuite consultants, and the current Netsuite Analyst to ensure system efficiency and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is eager to understand our business operations deeply and leverage their technical expertise to implement effective system solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence how our systems support our growth and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience with NetSuite administration, implementation, consulting, or development. A strong understanding of NetSuite’s functionalities, capabilities, and limitations is essential, along with proficiency in managing system tables, databases, and integrations. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Management Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are vital. Experience with general ledger processes, GAAP, and mass customization is a plus. Proficiency in Excel, SuiteScript, Javascript, SQL, and other programming languages will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage SKU creation, mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure accurate product data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite support, providing technical and functional assistance to various departments.
- Maintain and optimize NetSuite configurations to meet business needs, collaborating with external consultants for system enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive testing on new products, processes, or system updates, including systematic validation and deployment.
- Create, update, and analyze reports and saved searches to support business decision-making.
- Ensure consistent and accurate data flow between NetSuite and other integrated business applications.
- Develop a thorough understanding of system integrations and troubleshoot issues related to end-to-end processes.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, translating business needs into technical system specifications.
- Perform data cleanup procedures to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as user access provisioning, troubleshooting permissions, and generating audit reports.
- Assist the Controller with system-related projects, audits, and compliance activities.
