Position Summary: We are assembling a cutting-edge AI team to build a revolutionary product. We seek an exceptionally talented and self-motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer with a robust foundation in both machine learning theory and core software engineering. This role demands an individual who not only excels in developing and deploying advanced ML models—including generative AI and large language models (LLMs)—but also possesses strong engineering acumen to create scalable, maintainable, and production-grade systems. As a key member of our startup, you will work collaboratively across teams to translate complex business KPIs into technical solutions, while continuously pushing the boundaries of AI innovation. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Theoretical Modeling: Develop a deep understanding and practical application of key ML concepts such as regression, bias analysis, hypothesis testing, Bayesian methods, XGBoost, LightGBM, and other statistical models. Demonstrate expertise in generative AI, including auto-regressive models, LLM architectures, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG). Evaluate and design algorithms with a solid grasp of theoretical foundations to ensure optimal model performance. End-to-End ML Pipeline & MLOps/LLMOps: Build, deploy, and manage robust ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, validation, and production deployment. Oversee continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, prompt versioning systems, and model monitoring frameworks. Integrate best practices in bias analysis and model evaluation to ensure ethical and high-quality outputs. Core Software Engineering: Write efficient, maintainable code in Python with strong object-oriented programming and algorithm design skills. Develop RESTful APIs (or GRPC services) and design event-driven architectures; experience with Docker and container orchestration is essential. Ensure system scalability and robustness by integrating with SQL/NoSQL databases, vector databases, and modern orchestration tools. Systems Orchestration & Agent Patterns: Design and implement orchestration layers and innovative agent patterns (e.g., plan-and-execute, rewoo patterns) to facilitate advanced AI workflows. Extend and integrate pre-built components and custom solutions into cohesive, production-ready systems. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and engineering teams to gather requirements, translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, and guide the development process. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to research efforts, Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and tools in AI/ML to drive continuous experimentation and innovation. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize performance, streamline workflows, and enhance overall product quality.
