Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is hiring an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support a Global 7500 aircraft based in Windsor Locks, CT (KBDL). This Part 91 operation is staffed by a team of seven pilots, two Maintenance Technicians, and two Cabin Attendants.
Qualified candidates must reside within—or be willing to relocate to—one hour of Bradley International Airport (BDL). This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel internationally, as the aircraft operates globally approximately 50% of the time. The AMT will be expected to accompany the aircraft on international trips to provide maintenance support as needed.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of aircraft systems and components. Duties include dismantling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical equipment, as well as the removal and replacement of electrical systems and components.
In addition, the AMT ensures all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and is responsible for maintaining the aircraft in a continuous state of airworthiness.
