Character FX Artist

As a Character FX Artist at Netflix Animation Studios, you will be responsible for the creation and animation of complex character effects, such as hair, fur, cloth, and other organic simulations. You will collaborate closely with the production team to bring these effects to life, ensuring they seamlessly integrate with the overall visual style and storytelling of the film. Responsibilities: - Develop and animate complex character effects such as hair, fur, cloth, and other organic simulations - Work closely with the production team to ensure the effects align with the overall visual style and storytelling - Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues that arise during the production process - Collaborate with other artists and departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality final product - Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques Requirements: - Extensive experience in character effects animation, with a strong understanding of simulation techniques and tools - Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, Houdini, or similar - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Passion for animation and a keen eye for detail
