Job Overview
Joining as an
.Net Engineer II in Financial Planning team, which is within the Technology business unit, you will be responsible for design, build and maintain the sustainable, scalable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of software products, processes. This role will also include responsibility for working on multiple modules in different projects to drive more quality, scope, and scale in the offering.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered web-based applications while collaborating with Development, Enterprise Architecture and Product teams
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare SDLC documentation
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems
- Work collaboratively with QA, DevOPS teams to adopt CI/CD tool chain and develop automation
- Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support
- Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture
- Design patterns and coding best practices

Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with strong proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework.
- 3+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for scalable applications.
- 3+ years proficiency in:
- Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
- Backend: .NET Core.
- 3+ years experience/ understanding of Angular concepts (components, modules, services, dependency injection).
- 3+ years of expertise in API-first architecture and event-driven microservices for scalable applications.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS technologies, showcasing hands-on development expertise with AWS Lambda and Step Functions to build robust cloud-based solutions (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate/EKS, Glue, DynamoDB).
- 3+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or similar tools.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka and event driven architectures/patterns.
- 3+ Years SQL server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, etc.
Core Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
- Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools.
Preferences
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, and documentation.
- Experience with ML engineering practices, including model integration, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with observability tools (AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to write efficient, optimized code and apply caching strategies for high-performance applications.
