About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer / Technical Lead to join our dynamic engineering team based in Chennai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in backend application development, who are passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The successful candidate will take ownership of the technical design, development, and delivery of backend solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in .NET technologies, particularly C# and ASP.NET Core, along with a solid understanding of RESTful API design, enterprise architecture principles, and database optimization techniques. Experience with microservices architecture, cloud services such as Azure, and CI/CD pipelines will be considered a significant advantage. Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in backend development using .NET technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or equivalent Master’s degree.
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core framework.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of Clean Architecture, layered architecture, and enterprise application design.
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or similar systems.
- Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and scalability.
- Experience in developing secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and error handling best practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend applications using .NET technologies.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in technical discussions, provide guidance to junior team members, and lead code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize database queries, improve application performance, and ensure system scalability.
- Implement security measures to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline delivery processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues promptly.
