About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application (.NET) Developer with expertise in WPF and WCF to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining both desktop and web-based applications that meet our clients' evolving needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the .NET framework, front-end technologies, and database management to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically with the .NET framework.
- Strong proficiency in WPF and ASP.NET MVC (ASP.NET 5).
- Hands-on experience with WCF and ASP.NET Web API for service-oriented architecture.
- Solid understanding of .NET Framework 4.5+ and .NET Core 2.1+.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap 2+.
- Experience with Entity Framework 6 for data access layer development.
- Excellent SQL Server skills, including database design, optimization, and query writing, with experience in SQL Server 2016+.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using WPF and web applications with ASP.NET MVC.
- Build and consume web services utilizing WCF and ASP.NET Web API to enable seamless data exchange and integration.
- Develop robust backend solutions leveraging .NET Framework 4.5+ and .NET Core 2.1+ for scalability and performance.
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces with JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap to enhance user experience.
- Design and manage data access layers using Entity Framework 6, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Work with SQL Server 2016+ to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot database queries and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver solutions on time.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Adhere to software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and documentation.
