About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in web development, with expertise in .NET technologies and Angular framework. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients. The Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers, to deliver innovative solutions within an Agile environment. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in web development, with a proven track record in delivering enterprise-level applications. A strong understanding of .NET Core, C#, MVC, and Angular (minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience) is essential. Candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of high-performing Single Page Application (SPA) development using Angular or other JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js. Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma is required. Additionally, familiarity with version control systems such as GIT or TFS, and knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory, are highly desirable. A solid foundation in SQL Server, multi-threading, and object-oriented design principles is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Angular frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize high-performance Single Page Applications (SPAs) with a focus on user experience and responsiveness.
• Write comprehensive unit tests using Jasmine, Karma, or similar frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services, including SOAP and WCF services, to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Build Windows services, WCF services, and other backend components as required.
• Utilize tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible for version control, continuous integration, and deployment automation.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with remote and local team members to ensure timely delivery of solutions and maintain high standards of quality.
• Analyze technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and implement enhancements to existing applications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and technical specifications to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
