Net at Work is a professional services technology consulting firm committed to helping our clients grow through the effective use of technology. As part of that commitment, our People and Learning team supports employee development, system adoption, knowledge sharing, and operational effectiveness across the organization.


We are seeking a Summer Intern to support a variety of projects related to data cleanup, Microsoft Teams training, and AI research, analysis, use case development, and testing. This role will report to the Chief Learning Officer and will also support AI-related initiatives for the Chief Operating Officer.


This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, organized, comfortable with technology, and interested in learning how a growing professional services company uses systems, data, training, and AI to improve the way people work.


What you’ll be working on:

The Summer Intern will assist with projects that support learning, operations, communication, and emerging AI initiatives. Responsibilities may include organizing and cleaning up data, helping document and train employees on Microsoft Teams features, researching AI tools and use cases, and supporting testing or analysis related to AI adoption.

The intern will work closely with the Chief Learning Officer and may partner with leaders or team members across the business depending on the project.


Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with data cleanup, organization, validation, and basic analysis.
  • Review files, reports, spreadsheets, or system information to identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Help create simple documentation, job aids, or training materials related to Microsoft Teams features and best practices.
  • Support training or communication efforts to help employees better understand and use Microsoft Teams.
  • Research AI tools, trends, and practical business use cases.
  • Assist with AI testing, including documenting results, observations, risks, and recommendations.
  • Help organize AI use cases for review by leadership.
  • Support basic project coordination, including tracking tasks, updating status documents, and preparing summaries.
  • Work with the People and Learning team on other learning, communication, or process improvement projects as needed.


Job Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Interest in technology, AI, data, learning, or business operations.
  • Ability to research, summarize findings, and communicate clearly.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • Good judgment when working with company information.
  • Ability to work independently while also asking questions when needed.
  • A positive, professional, and collaborative approach.


Educational Requirements

  • Current college student or recent graduate preferred.
  • Coursework or interest in business, technology, data analytics, computer science, communications, human resources, learning and development, or a related field is helpful but not required.

We would love to see

  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint, or other collaboration tools.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence and how AI can be used responsibly in business.
  • Prior internship, work, volunteer, or school project experience involving research, data organization, technology, or process improvement.

Compensation

Base hourly rate range: $20.00.
